Blogging with Joomla (3)
Joomla is one of the most popular Content Management Systems in the world. The free and open source CMS is used all around the world, for a lot of different purposes.
Lately, using Joomla for blogging has become a hot topic. Many web site developers and designers use Joomla for their own and client's web sites. And now the need for blogging tools is growing.
In this section, I will add posts about blogging with Joomla.
A couple of weeks ago, I wrote about why you should use Joomla for blogging. Now I want to expand a little on the topic.
I've been blogging with Joomla since 2009 and don't want it any other way. I think there are plenty of reasons why one should use Joomla for blogging. So the question if it is right for you. Not trying to convince you (OK, just a little), but the aim of this post is to help you decide on whether or not to use Joomla for your blog project.
How would you like to enjoy a weekend at a 5-star hotel in Mallorca, Spain? How would you like to learn about Joomla topics from people with years of experience in their respective fields? How would you like to be taught in a small group of 12 people, getting personal tips and hands-on experience?
Now it is possible! Alexis Sotir, Daniel Dimitrov and Yen Tang had the idea earlier this summer. After having talked to some people in the community, they decided to create a series of Joomla workshops at Mallorca. The idea is to have people come there and learn in a relaxed atmosphere, from experienced Joomla community members.
As you know, I’m blogging with Joomla myself. I find the Joomla platform to be a really good platform for blogging. But is it right for you?
In this post I explore some reasons why I think you should use Joomla as a blogging platform and why it might be a good choice.
If you're a Joomla addict like me, it seems only natural to use Joomla as a blogging platform. I have seen some blogs about Joomla that are built with Wordpress. To me, that's quite silly. If you're writing about how to use Joomla, you should use it for blogging as well, in my opinion.
