As expected, the third beta version of Joomla 1.6 was released yesterday. It's been two weeks since the last release, and the development team has kept it's promise of delivering Since the Joomla 1.6 beta 2 release on May 31, the team have fixed approximately 102 issues in the tracker. Much of this progress is directly related to the stepped up efforts of the Joomla! Bug Squad. The team extend their thanks for all the hard work in bringing the project one increment closer to a stable version!

This is the third in a series of continuous betas for Joomla 1.6. Beta 4 will be released on June 28, 2010.
Note: Joomla 1.6 beta 3 should not be used on a production site. It's for testing purposes only.
