Interesting Articles from the Last Week

I read a few good articles this week. Here are some of them.

WAI-ARIA Roles in Accessible Admin Template
WAI-ARIA stands for Web Accessibility Initiative-Accessible Rich Internet Applications. It provides accessibility to the new generation of dynamic user interfaces and defines roles to different sections of a web page.

How to build a shop with joomla
Brian Teeman wrote a post this week that many people responded to. Both positive and negative remarks were left on his blog, some very annoyed at his apparent dislike for VirtueMart. I partly understand his concerns, but we need to remember that VirtueMart is an Open Source project - and with that comes certain problems / challenges you need to cope with. I'm using VirtueMart on several sites myself, and I'm quite happy with it. Read Brians article and judge for yourself.

J!Mint - User management
Speaking about webshops and Joomla: J!Mint is a project aimed at connecting Joomla and Magento and syncronizing user data between the applications. The project looks very promising - if you're into Magento, that is. The Admin looks very good. Take a look at the article at joomla.org and download the test files if you're interested in testing.

Holiday at last

I will be going on a holiday now, so there will be a bit fewer posts in the next few weeks. But I guess you won't get rid of me completely if you follow me on Twitter ;) And there might be a few posts as well. I'm planning a few thorough tutorials as well for after the vacation.

If you have anything you would like me to make a tutorial on - please This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or comment below.

Take care, my Joomla friend!
